What should I pack for the retreat?
Bring comfortable clothing for yoga and relaxation and casual evening attire for dinner and relaxing by the fire. Don't forget walking shoes for hiking, warm clothes, and your favorite reusable water bottle. We encourage packing light and bringing anything that makes you feel comfortable and at home.
Are there any dietary restrictions accommodated at the retreat?
Yes, we strive to accommodate various dietary needs. When you register, please inform us of any dietary restrictions or preferences you have (e.g., vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free). Our chef-prepared meals will include a variety of nutritious, fresh options to cater to our guests' needs.
What is the cancellation policy?
Given the exclusive nature of the Hospitable Hosts Retreat, we have a limited refund window. Cancellations made up to 30 days before the retreat start date will receive a 75% refund. Unfortunately, cancellations made less than 30 days before the retreat cannot be refunded (unless you find someone to take your place). We recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers cancellations for personal reasons.
Can I bring my kids or friends to the retreat?
We understand the importance of family and friends in our lives; however, the Hospitable Hosts Retreat is exclusively designed for our community who are seeking to connect, grow and rejuvenate with other like-minded individuals. To maintain the intimate and focused atmosphere of the retreat, we kindly request that this experience be limited to authors only. This policy helps ensure that all participants can fully immerse themselves in the retreat's activities and connections, fostering a controlled and cohesive environment conducive to personal growth and deepening bonds within our community. (Couple's in the business together are welcome to attend ... please purchase the shared room option)
How do we handle transportation during the retreat?
Transportation is not provided. Please rent a car or take Uber.
I have specific health concerns. How can I ensure they are addressed during the retreat?
We prioritize the well-being of all our guests. If you have specific health concerns or need special accommodations, please inform us during registration or contact us directly at [email protected]. Our team will work closely with you to accommodate your needs and ensure a comfortable and safe retreat experience.
